Taking place at:
Corby Town Football Club
Steel Park, Jimmy Kane Way, Rockingham Rd, Corby NN17 2AE.

Make a date in your diary for an evening of great music played by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and featuring a new and uplifting Song Cycle for Corby, written by international jazz singer Barb Jungr with local musicians, Corby's Head of Snakes and the Deep Roots Tall Trees Choir.

This action-packed concert also includes majestic music favourites, chosen by people from Corby, and played by the full Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Highlights include Coates' The Dam Busters and Mosolov's Iron Foundry, with rhythms and associations that reminded people of the sound of Corby as a steel town.

The evening includes:
A new Song Cycle for Corby written by Barb Jungr with Corby's Head of Snakes band and members of the Deep Roots Tall Trees choir, led by Gareth Fuller.
The Dam Busters by Eric Coates
Fingal's Cave by Mendelssohn's Hebrides Overture
Iron Foundry by Mosolov
The Great Gate of Kiev by Mussorgsky
Symphony 9, movement 3 by Dvorak

Arrive from 5.30pm to relax and enjoy some delicious food from one of our food stalls featuring local produce, or have a drink at one of our bars, stocked with local beers. Then enjoy a thrilling collaboration of songs celebrating Corby and its extraordinary people together with some of your favourite music performed by the nation's favourite orchestra.
