Project M – The Space
For ages 12 – 19 years
Sessions Start Thursday 20th January and run weekly onwards – 6.30pm – 8.30pm
Location – Secret Underground location at Chisholm House, Corby Town Centre (Meet at the Decking Area near The Entertainer Shop)
Project M is a youth music project for young people aged 12 – 19 years. Whether you are interested in listening to music, playing music, writing lyrics, writing poetry or just hanging out in a warm space it doesn’t matter, this is the space to be. Located in an empty shop unit in Corby Town Centre, this brand new space will have sessions running regularly throughout 2022 and beyond. People who attend will have access to some pretty high end music equipment as well as instruments and some music pros Mr. Shay and Strizzy Strauss who will help you get creative and make some noise.
Produced by The Core at Corby Cube and supported by Youth Music and Corby Town Centre, there will be regular opportunities to perform as part of the project. If performing isn’t your thing though, it doesn’t matter – plug in your phone to listen to your own favourite tracks and have a cup of tea or hot chocolate on the giant leather sofas.
