As the nights are getting longer, it can only mean one thing – Christmas is coming! This year we welcome back Potted Panto with their hilarious madcap journey through seven pantos in 70 minutes. And for little ones, we have the magical Santa’s Christmas Rescue – an interactive 35-minute show with the opportunity to meet Santa and his elves after the performance. Then CATS return in January with Dick Whittington!
For those of you looking for a night of live music, look no further. Dust off your rhinestones for The Dolly Show, warm up your vocal chords to sing along to The Power Ballad Show, prepare to be entertained with a night of North-east humour with The Pitmen Poets, or spend an evening with Wet Wet Wet’s Marti Pellow in a night of stories and song. But that isn’t all, don’t miss The Diana Ross Story, The Drifters, The Illegal Eagles, The Sound of Springsteen and many more.
For stand-up fans, our monthly comedy night Screaming Blue Murder is back, plus a new family-friendly Bangers & Mash Comedy Club. Plus, don’t miss Ed Gamble who brings his new show Electric to Corby, Dom Joly visits with his Holiday Snaps, and we also welcome Jason Byrne, Mark Thomas and Sally-Anne Hayward.
There’s also some fantastic entertainment for our littlest of audiences, as the Julia Donaldson classics Room on the Broom and The Smartest Giant In Town both take to the stage.
Our Get Involved programme is packed this coming season, with lots of activities for children, young people and community members to take part in. Turn to page 23 to find out more.
