Funding news from The Core at Corby Cube

The Core at Corby Cube is among 925 recipients to benefit from the latest round of awards from the Culture Recovery Fund, with the theatre awarded a grant of £63,773.

Chief Executive Jo Gordon and Director Joe Flavin commented:

We are thrilled to receive an investment of £63,773 as part of the third round of funding from DCMS’ Culture Recovery Fund. This will help us deliver our Winter season of activities, supporting us while audiences continue to grow their confidence in returning to our spaces. It will also crucially help us to continue our work in ensuring that our spaces are fully accessible to all and Covid secure.

All the team here are busy working to bring Corby a brilliant programme of shows in the coming months including our upcoming Christmas productions. You can find out more about these and our extensive programme of activity for local artists, children and young people, schools and our communities on our website.

We can’t miss this opportunity to say another thank you to our loyal audiences and local funders for their support during the challenges of the pandemic… and to our peers and collaborators – here’s to exciting times ahead.”

More than £100 million has been awarded to hundreds of cultural organisations across the country including The Core at Corby Cube in the latest round of support from the Culture Recovery Fund, the Culture Secretary announced today.

The third round of funding will support organisations from all corners of the sector as they deal with ongoing reopening challenges, ensuring they can thrive in better times ahead.
