New Autumn 2018 season now on sale

We have a great line up of events coming up at The Core this Autumn, with something for all ages and tastes, as Joe Flavin introduces his first new season as Director at the venue. A first class selection of family shows includes Dinosaur World LiveGuess How Much I Love You and Michael Morpurgo’s Private Peaceful, with a fantastic retelling of the classic tale Beauty And The Beast taking to stage for Christmas. A great line up of comedians includes Sara Pascoe, Jason Byrne and Justin Moorhouse. There is magical entertainment from Pete Firman and Jamie Raven, while TV stars Jamie Laing and Francis Boulle present Private Parts Live. Musical highlights include performances from Steeleye Span, Hazel O’Connor and the Opera Boys. Reaching beyond the confines of the theatre, the new outdoor arts festival Grow takes over Corby town centre for a weekend this Summer.

Celebrating the talent of the young people taking part in its Get Involved programme, Winter Wonders will showcase the work of the Sparks youth theatre group while Core Actors and Core Comedians present Bright Lights.

A range of Summer Holiday activities are also on offer for young people, including Play In A Day, Filmmaking Day, Hip Hop Day and Spoken Word Day, while the October half-term week brings the weeklong music project, Concept.
