They call me Mum. Everyone calls me Mum now. Or Mummy. I had a name before. Where did that go?

Inspired by true events, Katie Guicciardi’s Fox is a brutally honest and insightful exploration of new motherhood in an increasingly isolating society. A sharply observed drama that examines our complex relationship with ‘help’ – our desire to give it and the need to seek it for ourselves.

This “small but perfectly formed” play (Telegraph) is “a brave, eye-opening show” (What’s On Stage).

Baby Friendly performance

Our morning show on Wed 19 April is for mothers, parents or grown-ups who look after young babies. The show is made with these performances in mind & there will be a relaxed set-up suitable for parent/baby needs including changing facilities, toys, soft mats. Post-show we will host a stay/play/chat facilitated session for everyone to relax and reflect together – making new connections between parents and providing space for wellbeing and aftercare.

This performance is specifically for grown ups to bring along their non-walking babies. There will be a baby friendly set up for seating and it’ll be a relaxed performance so you can care for all your baby’s needs during the show. We would also love for you to stay for a play and chat session after the show.

The content of the show is for adults so the performance is not suitable for babies over 12 months.

Content Warning

The play explores sensitive themes of postnatal depression and includes mentions of baby loss.
